Buying a Property
Once you have provided us with your property search requirements, you will receive a selection of available sales properties that match your search criteria via email, SMS Text Alert and regular telephone contact. We will ensure that you are offered property viewings at the earliest opportunity on all of the latest properties that match your search requirements. We aim to arrange property viewings at times that are convenient for you, including evenings and weekends, and you will be accompanied by an experienced member of our sales team to offer advice on local amenities, schools and transport links.
Once you find a suitable property and your offer has been accepted you will need to instruct your appointed solicitor and proceed with any financial applications such as a mortgage. Your solicitor will take over the legal issues and make sure that all of the vital checks including the land registry search and the local authority search are carried out.
On receipt of your formal mortgage offer, all required legal documentation, deposit, signed contract and confirmation of a completion date, your solicitor will be in a position to formally exchange contracts which agrees the terms of the purchase and makes the transaction legally binding for both you and the seller.
On the day that completion all funds are transferred to the seller's solicitors and arrangements are made for you to collect the keys.
